Advance Wars was what I thought to be the best game made for GameBoy Advance until Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising came along and blew it out of the water. This game deserves much more than 5 stars. Don't listen to the advice the review titled: Science-Fiction + War Tactics = Blah has to give. For if you read it closely enough you'd realise that this person hasn't even bought the game! I quote: "after all the reviews and coverages I've read about this game the only new unit is the horrible neo-tank. That is why it deserves a 2." This statement is parshally true though because even though the Neo-tank is the only new unit in the game it is far from "horrible". Infact it's the best unit in the game and it looks quite cool. But there are many other aspects to this game which make it better than Advance Wars. I'll name them: the plot is much more interesting, theres many more levels, you get to be all of the new and old CO'S, theres a new building which is a Missle Silo (you can only fire each of them once though), you can buy maps much easierly, theres more data on your hands, and finally each CO has 2 powers a regular one and a Super one. (I think I may have missed a couple of new aspects to the game.) Well that sums it up hope this review helped you.

Alright, let's have a history lesson. The first Advance Wars was a great game, if I should say so myself. It was both fun and addictive. If you don't believe me, go ahead and read the reviews that other people gave Advance Wars. There's a reason why so many people gave Advance Wars such a high rating: it gave a great sense of playing a real war while keeping it so that it isn't too violent, as well as being an educational video game. Quite an impressive break from all those shooters that have been emerging to the video game market. So, if Nintendo is adding on more details to the Advance Wars engine that's proven to provide stellar gameplay, what kind of cons could there be? Nintendo's making Advance Wars BETTER than ever, with more units, COs, terrain, and much more. Therefore, it's a no brainer; this game will be a good continuation to Advance Wars. I'm definately going to get this game as soon as it comes out!

Ive owned this game for over a year now, and i still havent finished it. There is so much to do in this game. You start the game with a campaign mode that alone takes a while to beat, then, after youve cleared it, there is a hard campaign. Aside from that, there is all the maps in the war room, and the option to create your own maps. The gameplay is really addictive, you wont be able to put it down. The game is also suprisingly a real challenge. Buy this game now, you wont regret it.
