This game is horrible. There is no real object to the game. The missions are no fun and they are pointless. THis was supposed to be a snowboarding game, right? It's basically running from the cops while on a snowboard. 2 stars.

Dark Summit could be considered a decent snowboarding game. There's an attempt to formulate a plot through missions you have to complete, but most of the missions are nonsensical objectives. Graphics wise the game is good, sporting excellent animations and good detail. Play control is smooth as well as simple. The tricks are very easy to pull off in this game. Music and sound are substandard though. The music mostly sounds like some sort of horrible techno blend. Another problem comes in the game design. Though some of the game can be fun, other parts can just be moronic. The game is alright, but not something that will set a gaming standard.

Dark Summit really has little to offer since it is a cross between a platformer and a sports game it typiclaly lacks at both. Befor purchasing this game know that SSX tricky has better graphics, sound and gameplay as well as THPS 3 for that matter and genre. This game really seems like somthing that could have been released on the PS One a couple years ago and been great but for todays generation of games it really lacks a physics system feel and overall level of fun. Not Recommended, possible rental.
