This year Sony's license deal with THQ for wrestling games ended, so we can expect a great WWE game this year from THQ. THQ said that instead of having the Wrestlemania team work on Day Of Reckoning it's now the Smackdown team working on it and the Wrestlemania team working on the Smackdown games. The Wrestlemania series is completely gone doing to a poor name making the sales sore, but also allowing the team to start fresh. The story mode is like no other THQ says. It is all new and full of surprises and twists leading you to championship matches and other traps. New to the Gamecube is a Bra and Panties match along with several other old and new matches. Pretty much the exact same match types as SHCTP. Everything is redone and it looks great. All the moves,songs,controls and features are new and set just like in real life. It will be quite a surprise what the Smackdown brand can do with the Gamecube. So far it's well done and very solid compared to every other WWE game.
