wwf wrestlemania 2000 is a great game, and it is very fun. But there are some things that I noticed disappointed me. One is the music. The wrestler's themes are cut off, so you only here a repeating segment. X-pac, mark henry, undertaker, kane, etc. All of their music was cut off. Another reason I gave this 4 stars was because of the lack of variety of options for the create a player and wrestling modes. In create a player most of the outfits are the wrestlers outfits, and the music you choose from is the wrestler's music (except for a few bgm themes). The wrestling modes are also limited. There is no stable match, 3 on 1...etc. The lumberjack option is stupid. There are no lumberjacks. But there are many more good qualities to this game than bad qualities. It is very fun with a hell of a lot of wrestlers who have a hell of a lot of moves. If you really love wrestling it's a buyer. If you aren't, it is a good game to rent. Either way it's a hell of a lot of fun!

Wow! After all that waiting and waiting, the wrestling game for the N64 is finally here! With realistic wrestler entrances, a souped-up game engine, and all the taunts and moves of your favorite WWF superstars, THQ's Wrestlemania 2000 is a big step up from its predecessor, WCW/NWO Revenge. I turned on the game expecting the best, and what I found was better than what I'd hoped. Over 50 of your favorite WWF superstars are here, with all of the moves that made them famous. The Big Show's Showstopper, X-Pac's Bronco Buster, and Stone Cold's Stunner are all here, and are executed in amazing detail. Not only that, but all the taunts are here, and done much better than in Revenge. The detail is so great, you can see Jeff Jarrett's fingers whe he struts, unlike in Revenge, where you had to pretend Kevin Nash was giving you the Wolfpac sign. The career mode is amazing, with actual cards drawn out for each event (I even had a created character I wasn't using on a card once). You can choose to watch the matches you aren't in, or skip them. The one drawback to watching matches is that they get exceptionally long, with some going for almost an hour. The game modes are also amazing, with Royal Rumble ( a 30 man battle royal), the King of the Ring tournament, three-way dances, and even Cage matches. You can even make your matches first blood (first one to bleed loses). But, if you're like me, by far your favorite part is the Create-A-Wrestler function. This is definitely a great leap from Revenge, and far better than Acclaim's Attitude's CAW. In this mode, you can not only edit your character's appearance and moves, but their entrance and music as well. The editor also allows for valets, managers, and arch-rivals. The editor is so specific, you can even program how often your character gets weapons. And previewing every move is helpful when one does not want to look like a pansy in front of friends. The minor drawback is the length of time it takes to program 135 moves into the game. It took me almost an hour and a half for one character. Overall, Wrestlemania 2000 is far superior to THQ's last foray into the wrestling genre, and far superior to EA's WCW Mayhem, and Acclaim's WWF Attitude. If you would like this game, but don't have an N64, look for THQ's coming release for the Playstation, WWF Smackdown. It promises to be even better than this one. But for now, my addiction is quenched with WM2K, a high-quality wrestling experience.

WWE WM 2000 is a great game with tons of matches..
When I first got this It was around the time it first came out.
Man this game is awesome. They steel cage match, Hardcore match, and I can't remember but I think they had first blood?...I think...I don't remember.

The graphics were good for it's time. Gameplay was quick which is a good thing. It is also the first N64 game to have blood in a WWE game.

My favorite match is the steel cage. It's sooo fun but I wish they had a Hell in The Cell match.
