These days, force feedback is very commonly built into modern controllers. This wasn't so in the Nintendo 64's era. Accordingly, Nintendo created an external device that hooked into the controller. Read on to see why the Rumble Pak is loved by some and hated by others.

PROS:
-Force feedback in your Nintendo 64 games
-Most games on the system support it
-You can put in in or out of the controller at your will. In many ways this it more convenient that having to go to an options menu in a modern game

CONS:
-NOT compatible with all games. In Japan, many games were rereleased with the compatibility. That never happened here. That bites
-It requires batteries. And as you know, batteries don't last forever
-It makes the controller heavier
-You can't have both it and a controller pak in your controller at the same time

Overall this is an excellent accessory for a system that is now deceased. They are also relatively inexpensive, due to the system's decline. If you've got an N64, these are a must have.

I got this a while ago, and in my opinion it really isn't worth getting. There are many other rumble paks that have memory cards in them, and they don't cost much more than this. So as you can see, this just really isn't worth it.
However, rumble paks are great, they add so much to a game when you are playing it.
Pros:
1) Rumble adds a great effect
2) Works good/durable
Cons:
1) Too big
2) No memory cards

This Tremor Pack adds on to the N64 controller in the back. When correctly attached, the tremor pack vibrates the controller adding realism of the game. Once you buy one, and play with it, and then you play on a controller that doesn't have one, you'll want to buy another.
