I just got to play this game at my friends house yesterday because I bought it but my computer wasn't up to the requirements. This game is really fun. We beat the first mission, which is a photo taking journey through a Jurassic Park. An allosaurus charged our car; which provided some nice photos. In the second mission you have to shoot and kill a whole bunch of rampaging dinos; really hard. I steered the chooper while my freind shot, it was really fun. The dinosaurs were really detailed, and as you shot them you could see blood spattering off. You also ahve to shoot all these little raptors running and jumping all over the place. One even started to climb one of the fences, but we got him.
Next we tried playing a free from game. I didn't get to play for long but it was really fun. the interface is sorta clunky but it would be really easy to get used to. Just watching my little tiny dinos run around in tneir cage was fun. All the dinosaurs are highly detailed and interact with each other ver well. Graphics are great also. The teen rating isn't all that bad is you are thinking about getting it for a kid. Just a little bit of blood here and there.
If you like park building games this is great, it does not have all the options like Zoo Tycoon though. The graphics are crisp and everything else is great. I highly reccomend this game

I've seen other "Dinosaur Park" Sims on the market, but this is certainly the original as well as the clear best.

Game play is fun and incredibly addicting. The graphics are wonderful and the dinosaurs themselves are exquisitely animated. The Brachiosaurs' bellies shake as the walk and the different species all have different AI's and behaviors.

The different "employees" of your park (such as Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler and Dr. Wu and etc.) can sometimes be a little annoying in their insistence. And my only real complaint is that you can't "fire" dig teams, so once you find all the genetic material you need they just wander aimlessly. But that's just nit-picky and is a result of my having played it so much.

I've had this game awhile and have built many a park but I still find it fun each time.

This game is perfect for those who really believe in Jurrasic Park or those who have alot of time on their hands. The graphics are as good as those in the movie and the music is great. There are downsides, though. You can only have a certain amount of dinosaurs (60, I think) and your limited on the diversity. After a while (after you've perfected your park and have 5 stars)there isn't much else to do. That isn't much if you consider the up's of the game. Their is some blood and gore, but it's hard to see. It's no worse than one of Steve Erwin's animal documentaries. The violence isn't bad, either. You see a carnivore attack a herbivore by knocking it over (except raptors, they jump onto thier prey). Basically, if you were able to see the movie, you could play this game. In my opinion, this game is one of the best.
